Hello and thanks for looking me up.  I'm an award-winning factual tv producer/director.  I specialise in making films about great moments in history, about life or death battles, amazing people and epic journeys.  

 

I spent almost twenty years with BBC Factual, and latterly BBC Studios Documentary Unit.  Among many others, I made films about the history of the machine gun, the Stuart dynasty, the photography of the US Civil War and the life and work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

 

More recently, I spent two years with OR Media, producing four films on the politics of the Middle East. Conducting high level interviews around the world and filming amazing real-life colour sequences.

 

I speak French and I'm (slowly) learning Arabic.  I'm a CAA licensed drone operator/owner.  I have a current US I Visa and I'm hostile environments trained.
